Barclays leases almost 2 Lac sq ft at Nirlon Knowledge Park, Goregaon East

Banking giant Barclays has inked a lease deal at Nirlon knowledge park, Western Express Highway,
Goregaon east, Mumbai for around 1,80,000 sq ft for its backend operations. The London based companyhas apparently frozen this deal in May 2013 at around INR 95 per sq ft per month rental.

The deal brokered by CBRE comes as a good news for the troubled commercial market in Mumbai.
The capacity of this office space is for around thousand employees and this property is at a very
strategic location on the Highway.

The corporate leasing market in the city of Mumbai has got a big boost due this major realty transaction in the western suburbs of Mumbai.
